With blessings and endorsement from the paramount Fon of the Bambui Fondom, Akworsi was officially launched in Douala, Bonaberi and other sub branches on February 1st 2026.

To be eligible as Akworsi beneficiary, members shall be registered BACUDA, BAWOCUDA, BUS, and any community linked recognized development associations in the diaspora. Children of all ages within the national territory are eligible to be independent members or under their parents if they are registered with any of the above associations. In the diaspora, only adults with active status in any of the recognized associations are eligible.
